Tutoring Initiative

Pallavi started a tutoring initiative to provide Black students free, individualized online tutoring lessons. So far we have nearly 100 students from all over the country (and the UK and Africa) matched! Pallavi runs an Active Screening background check on the tutors, matches them with students, and checks in to ensure everything is running smoothly. This allows the families and tutors to create their own individualized lesson plans to best support the student. Students are of all age ranges and need assistance in a variety of subjects.

RespiraWorks

Pallavi is Co-Executive Director of RespiraWorks, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with over 200 contributors worldwide working to rapidly design a low-cost and open-source ventilator, a powered air-purifying respirator, and other medical equipment for communities underserved by the global supply chain. Our objective is to provide the know-how and technology to enable others to manufacture these systems and put them in the hands of those who need them most.
